Ivanete De Oliveira started Vin Des Amis in 2015 with two goals. The first was to provide a space in the crowded NYC wine market to showcase wine made from small producers who grow organically and vinify as naturally as possible. The second was to provide a space in the community where people could come and learn about these wines in an intimate and focused environment; a place where friendship and camaraderie could grow around a product with real humanity behind it.
With these goals in mind, Ivanete and her team have dedicated themselves to curating a selection of wines made with minimal chemicals and artificial manipulation, made by small farmers dedicated to the craft of natural wine from all over the world. We have also embarked on a journey of constant education reguarding both the expressions and the stories behind the wines we source. We now hope to share those experiences and stories with you, both through this website and of course through our wine.
